Research Interests: ^top

Ocean remote sensing, small-scale surface hydrodynamics, and interaction of electromagnetic radiation with the ocean. Development of theoretical models and data processing techniques for microwave remote sensing of ocean surface waves, internal waves, and fronts, and optical measurements of water quality and water depth. Analysis of synthetic aperture radar data, laboratory measurements, and in situ oceanographic data.
