Ph.D. student Wenqing Zhou has been awarded the 2021 SAE Henry O. Fuchs Student Award by the SAE Fatigue Design Evaluation Committee for his Ph.D. thesis “Modeling of Welding-Induced Distortion Effects of Lightweight Shipboard Structures.” The purpose of the award is to promote the education of engineering students in the area of fatigue technology.
