MSE Degree
The Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) is a traditional 30 credit coursework option.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Take Required Course – MATH for Naval Architects (NA 500/ 3 credits), these credits will also count towards the required 15 NA&ME 500+ level credits
- Take at least One (1) COGNATE Course (level 400 and up) – An Engineering or another Math course outside NA&ME
- A minimum of 18 credit hours of NA&ME courses – At least 15 (of the 18 required NA&ME) credits need to be at the 500 level or above
- IF NEEDED – Remaining credits will be of approved coursework (level 400 and up) – Not all students will need this if they already have earned 30 credits by fulfilling the above requirements
